Mary Kay Galvin originally pursued a career in the Medical Field, and managed a Neurosurgical Practice in the Houston area for over 5 years. Her father-in-law coaxed her into Oil Field and Marine Communications sales in the mid 1980’s in Houston, Texas. He did ask her what she had sold in the past, and she looked him straight in the eye and said “Girl Scout Cookies” and began the journey into Business Communications and Technical Sales and Sales Management for the next 40 years.
Regardless of the complexity of the product line or the size of the corporations she worked with, she always maintained a warm professional relationship with her customers, and many of them have remained close personal friends.
Mary Kay had the opportunity to move frequently during those years, and learned firsthand the possible stress of buying and selling homes in many parts of this great country. She definitely enjoyed the processes and challenges of buying and selling homes.
The Texas Hill Country was always her preferred place and she began looking for “that perfect place on the Lake” about 4 years ago. In September of 2017 she walked off of her last airline business trip, drove to that perfect place on the Lake and began the process of becoming a Real Estate Agent in God’s country.
Good business and successful relationships rely heavily on honesty, successful listening, discipline, integrity, and focused activity. These are all skills that she will gladly share with her clients when they are either selling or buying their next home or property.
